My travel design process is very personalized; I get to know you and how you like to travel, your preferences on style, and all of the little details that can make your trip special and memorable. I will work directly with you and for YOU to help make the right buying decisions based on your needs, desires, and financial considerations - identifying the best suppliers, tour options and unique and engaging activities to match your criteria -- then craft a tailored itinerary.

Every trip design request is unique, and I'll craft an individualized proposal exclusively for you. When you're planning a multi-faceted vacation with accommodations, tours, dining, and transportation, the stakes are high - you only get one chance to get it right. As your travel advisor, I'm not just a booking engine. I will guide you through the entire planning process and handle all the details. Let me know what you're dreaming of and I'll handle the rest! From booking accommodations and touring to creating a customized itinerary and essential travel tips and tricks - it all starts with a personal consultation. I'll then design a custom trip just for you, providing you with several options to choose from, as applicable. You can be as involved in the planning process as you want or leave the in-depth research to me. Hotels, tours and cruises booked will also receive VIP benefits & amenities, when available.
Since each trip is different, the planning fee will be determined up front based on several factors such as:

type of trip and complexity (i.e safari, active pursuits (i.e. hiking, cycling, golf), cruise (ocean, river, expedition), European multi-country, etc.)

length of trip

harder to reach or off-the-beaten path destinations (i.e. Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Bhutan).
A $200 non-refundable fee will be due prior to moving forward with research and planning. Any remaining planning fee amount will be due following itinerary approval and prior to booking.

Quick Getaway Package or Cruise Bookings
$200 | Single destination, less than 10 days
This package is for more straightforward trips to a single destination for less than 10 days (i.e. a week in Maui, or 7-night cruise with pre or post accommodations and shore excursions). Hotels, tours and cruises booked will receive VIP benefits & amenities, wherever possible with our preferred partners.

Airline Ticketing Fees
To be able to provide exceptional service and advocate on your behalf should your flight be delayed or cancelled I charge a service fee per ticket as laid out below.
Domestic tickets (U.S. and Canada) - $50 per ticket
International tickets - $100 per ticket
International regional tickets* - $75 per ticket
* International regional tickets would be for any flights within a country (i.e. Sydney to Adelaide), within the European Union (i.e. London to Rome) or to or within the Caribbean.

This fee covers not only any service fees that I incur from my booking agent, but also the research that goes into identifying the best routes and fares for your particular situation. In addition, it covers monitoring and managing any impacted trip components due to a delayed or cancelled flight (i.e. notifying/rescheduling tours, accommodations, rental cars, etc.) or helping with any lost/delayed luggage.
This fee does not cover any costs associated with impacted services such as refunds for missed tours or covering cancellation fees that may imposed by suppliers. This is why I highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to reimburse you for any expenses you incur that may not be compensated from the airline. However, this fee does cover my time assisting with getting any compensation from the airline as allowed and working with the travel insurance company on any additional claims on your behalf. Should you choose to book your own flights, the services listed above may be limited. These fees may be reduced or waived at the sole discretion of Wild Indigo Travel.
Note: Additional fees may apply in certain circumstances such as cancellation fees, change fees, late-booking fee or festive/holiday season fee, depending on the situation. These will be discussed or determined during the initial consultation.
