Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions:
Receipt of your initial trip deposit and/or any Planning fees constitutes your agreement to the below terms and conditions.
Client acknowledges that he/she has carefully read through these terms and fully understands that this is a waiver and release of liability.
Planning Fee:
During the complimentary initial consultation, Wild Indigo Travel will discuss the Planning Fee structure. The Planning Fee is determined based on the type of itinerary requested which includes factors such as type of trip, length, destination, number of travelers, and level of service. Please refer to the Planning Fee guide for the estimated amount. The specific Planning Fee amount will be determined during the initial consultation.
A signed (electronically) service agreement and credit card authorization along with a $100 non-refundable deposit is required before moving forward with any research on the destination(s), accommodations, or flights. The Planning Fee may be waived at the sole discretion of Wild Indigo Travel.

Airline ticketing fees may also be assessed. Please review the Travel Planning section for a full description of the fee structure.
Rates:
All pricing provided is a quote and is subject to change until a reservation is paid in full. While many suppliers will confirm pricing once the deposit has been applied, some products may be subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. These additional charges will be charged to the traveler by Wild Indigo Travel to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets, or any combination thereof.
Acceptable Travel Identification Documents:
It is the responsibility of each Customer to be aware of, obtain, and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and all other documents required by applicable government regulations as may be necessary for any travel services arranged by Wild Indigo Travel. Children and infants also require all such travel documents.
When traveling domestically or internationally, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advise that everyone carry at least two forms of acceptable identification in order to board a flight. You may visit https://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/acceptable-ids for TSA information. Passport and visa information may be obtained by contacting the Travel Agent Section of the U.S. State Department's website at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html.
Passports are required for all US Citizens traveling outside of the country and Wild Indigo Travel also requires travelers to have valid passports for cruises. IMPORTANT: Passports need to be valid for at least 6 months after your return travel date. If a passenger is traveling on a passport from a country other than the United States of America, it is the traveler’s responsibility to provide this information to Wild Indigo Travel. Non-US passport holders should be sure to contact the embassies of their destination and transit countries to obtain entrance requirements.
The name, date of birth, and gender that appear on the identification card must exactly match the same data that is listed on airline ticket(s) and all booking records.
Failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint resulting in travelers’ potentially missing flight(s) and subsequent travel bookings on cruises and tours.
Wild Indigo Travel may request copies of each traveler’s passport or other legal documents used to ensure that name spellings, dates of birth, and gender match the travel reservation. These documents will be stored in a PCI-compliant system for reference as needed to complete or verify any booking information. However, it is still the traveler’s ultimate responsibility to verify this information and to contact Wild Indigo Travel immediately with any errors. If a copy of each passport is not supplied to Wild Indigo Travel, all fees including but not limited to passport corrections and supplier cancellations due to a misspelled name are solely the travelers’ responsibility.
Additional Entry and Exit Requirements:
Each foreign country holds different views of past criminal offenses – if you have a current or past offense, please contact that country directly for entry and exit requirements. Travelers with DWI or DUI records should check whether current rules exclude admission to foreign destinations. Wild Indigo Travel feels it is an invasion of privacy to make such an inquiry and these requirements remain the traveler’s responsibility. For further information on travel requirements, please visit the U.S. State Department web site: travel.state.gov

Parental or legal guardian consent must be provided to the supervising adult/Group Leader.
Risk / Safety:
Travel to many parts of the world may involve the risk of a variety of hazards to health and/or safety, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism, and warfare. Because each traveler's risk tolerance is different, Wild Indigo Travel is not able to advise whether one should travel to any specific place at any particular time. Rather, to assist travelers in making informed decisions, the traveler should refer to objective third-party sources of travel information, such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html
It is recommended that travelers enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at https://step.state.gov/step/ as this will provide travelers with important information and alerts regarding the traveler's destination.

Extenuating Circumstances:
From time to time a service or product that is purchased through a supplier may not be available at the time of travel. Force majeure is included which may involve scenarios such as (but not limited to) pandemic, natural catastrophes, rail maintenance, road maintenance or road closures due to special events, city, or government closures of museums and/or monuments, etc. Recourse may be available through travel insurance or possibly the supplier.

Travel Document Review:
It is the client's responsibility to thoroughly review all travel documents for accuracy upon receipt and to contact Wild Indigo Travel with any questions or concerns. It is also important to understand that discounted fares typically involve restrictions and that changing any aspect of your travel arrangements may result in the payment of additional money.
Suppliers:
Wild Indigo Travel acts solely as a booking agent for disclosed principal supplier cruise lines, hotels, airlines, air charters, bus companies, ground transportation, boat purveyors or owners, and other independent contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and/or other services (“supplier(s)”), and is not the source or provider of the travel services. Each of these supplier companies is an independent entity with its own management and is not subject to the control of Wild Indigo Travel. The Client is advised that the suppliers whose names appear in travel documentation actually are those responsible for providing the travel services purchased, and consents to the use of those suppliers, and understands and agrees each supplier’s Terms and Conditions are contained in printed form and are set forth on their respective websites, which govern the transaction. All bookings are accepted by Wild Indigo Travel as agent for the disclosed travel suppliers on your itinerary. The transportation, accommodations, and other services provided by the identified sea, ground, and air operator suppliers offered are subject to the terms and conditions contained in the tickets, exchange orders, or vouchers issued by them and/or their suppliers, including Terms and Conditions on their respective websites.
Separate supplier terms and conditions will apply to your reservation and purchase of travel-related goods and services that you select. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by Wild Indigo Travel and any supplier with whom you elect to deal, or with whom Wild Indigo Travel deals on your behalf, including but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier’s rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products, or services. You understand that any violation of any such supplier’s conditions of purchase may result in the cancellation of your reservation(s) or purchase, in your being denied access to any flights, hotels, cruises, or automobiles, in your forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation(s) or purchase, and in Wild Indigo Travel debiting your account for any costs Wild Indigo Travel incurs as a result of such violation. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of your travel bookings through Wild Indigo Travel.
Client authorizes Wild Indigo Travel to book on third-party travel booking sites to fulfill Client’s travel requests. In the event of any inconsistency or ambiguity of terms, Wild Indigo Travel shall benefit from the most favorable term(s) in each instance.
You agree Wild Indigo Travel is not liable for any personal injury or property damage, which may arise out of these services. Wild Indigo Travel hereby disclaims any liability whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, including without limitation liability for any direct, punitive, special consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, in connection with the goods or services provided by any principal supplier booking through Wild Indigo Travel’s office or through this website, including without limitation liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be incurred through the fault, negligence, willful acts, omissions or otherwise of such supplier, or of any supplier or their respective employees, agents, servants, or representatives, including, without limitation, their failure to deliver or their partial or inadequate delivery of services, fuel increases, and other matters outside of Wild Indigo Travel’s control, and you hereby exonerate Wild Indigo Travel from any liability with respect to the same.
Late Bookings:
Prospective customers are advised to reserve early to avoid disappointment and additional late booking fees.
No Refund for Unused Arrangements:
As Wild Indigo Travel’s are prices that are often times based on contract rates, there will not be any refund for any unused portion of a travel booking. Some group tours are based on minimum numbers of passengers traveling; if the number of passengers falls below the minimum required, a surcharge may be imposed or the tour canceled.
Alterations to Confirmed Bookings:
If you decide to change any portion of your confirmed arrangements prior to departure or during your trip, we will attempt to assist you at our applicable administrative charge, depending upon the circumstances of the request.

Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation fees may also be applicable in addition to any imposed by the supplier. Supplier cancellation policies will be made available either through a link in the itinerary or listed next to the service. It is recommended to obtain Travel Protection to cover changes to your travel plans that result in cancellation fees.

Cash/Check/Debit Card Payment Implications:
Clients who pay by cash, check, or debit card have essentially no protection under federal law if services are not received or provided by the vendor. Payments made via credit card are strongly recommended. In the event that a supplier does not provide the services paid for, the credit card holder must dispute any such charges, in writing, within 60 days of the purchase in most instances, in order to notify the credit card issuer that the services were not received. Federal law requires that the notification be in writing in order to protect the credit card holder.

Consumer Disclosure Notice:
Wild Indigo Travel, an Affiliate of Andavo Travel strongly recommends that its clients pay for all travel plans by credit card as credit card companies provide the best possible form of consumer protection against the loss of funds due to supplier bankruptcy. Payment is authorized via a secured, PCI-compliant payment link agreeing to the acceptance of the credit card charges.
Please understand that whether a client pays by credit card, cash, check, or debit card Wild Indigo Travel will not be held financially liable for the failure of a travel supplier to completely provide their services to you, whether due to weather, labor problems, mechanical issues, terrorism, diseases, political unrest, governmental rulings, acts of war, careless actions, cessation of services or other unforeseen circumstances.
Wild Indigo Travel will do everything in our power to advocate for you, the traveler, if there is an issue with travel-related services. In this era of economic and political uncertainty, Wild Indigo Travel encourages its clients to protect their hard-earned travel funds by using their credit cards and purchasing travel insurance.
Travel Insurance:
To cover many of the issues that might prevent a travel supplier from completely providing their services to you, Wild Indigo Travel strongly suggests the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance. While no one travel insurance company can cover all circumstances, Wild Indigo Travel offers its clients access to several reputable travel insurance companies. In some cases, travel insurance may be required for certain types of adventure or expedition tours and may require evacuation coverage for field rescues or medical emergencies/repatriation.
Comprehensive travel insurance can protect against force majeure events, third-party supplier default/bankruptcy protection, delay, interruption, missed connection for cruises, cancellation, medical emergency transportation/evacuation & repatriation, baggage & personal effects/lost luggage & baggage delay, illness, job loss protection and change of plans, accidental death and disability, travel accident/sickness medical expenses, and more. Proper insurance may protect you from financial loss in almost all circumstances. Without appropriate travel insurance, the Client understands and agrees that if the Client cancels or interrupts their travel for any reason, portions of the trip/tour may not be refunded and Wild Indigo Travel’s and travel suppliers cancellation penalties will apply resulting in the loss of monies up to the full cost of Client’s travel booking and related costs.
Please read any travel insurance policies carefully and if you have any questions, please call the travel insurance company for clarification, since they have the final word on what is covered by a claim and what is not. Information regarding travel insurance will be provided for the traveler to review the coverage details and policy.
A signed (electronically) Travel Insurance Acknowledgement / Waiver form is required if you choose to decline purchasing travel insurance.
Limited Liability:
Wild Indigo Travel is not responsible nor liable for any error, omission, injury, property loss, accident, act of terrorism, disappointment, or any other unforeseeable event. Wild Indigo Travel is not responsible for missed connections, schedule changes, aircraft changes, or trip interruption. It is the traveler’s responsibility to have proper travel documents for all trips including but not limited to vouchers, passports, visas, marriage licenses, or birth certificates. Travel insurance should be purchased to protect you in these circumstances. Change and cancel fees may apply. Hotel and tour operator fees may apply at the time of a change or cancellation of existing schedule. PLEASE NOTE: all rates are subject to change without notice until deposit is made. Liability is limited to the maximum of and planning fees paid.

I agree that under no circumstances, including negligence, shall liability to the client, his/her heirs, executors and administrators and all members of his/her family, of Wild Indigo Travel, its principals, suppliers or agents exceed the total amount of funds paid by the client under the contract. The exclusions and limitations on the liability of Wild Indigo Travel, its principals, suppliers and agents as set out in this Liability Waiver and in the Conditions of Travel herein, are effective, and apply to claims in contract or in tort, including negligence, and whether or not there is a fundamental breach of the contract.
